What’s Inspiring You This Week?
Here’s What’s Inspiring Me!
When you lose someone you love, it’s hard to say good-bye.
Grief can be a prolonged process.
How do you celebrate the lives of your loved ones
Without re-living the pain of their loss?
These are some of the answers you’ll find in
The Living Memories Project –
An inspirational book that celebrates the lives
Of over 30 amazing individuals and provides ideas
On how to pay tribute to the ones you love!
For more information, read my book review –
Visit their website –
And share a copy of this wonderful resource
With a friend in need!
Today I’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Sherrill –
An exceptional woman who has inspired others her entire life!
Elizabeth has been a writer and editor for Guideposts for over 60 years.
She has published over 1500 articles and written over 30 books,
Including The Hiding Place about Corrie ten Boom and
The Cross and the Switchblade about David Wilkerson.
Now she shares her own amazing life story in Surprised By Grace –
A book that reminds us that God can use anyone who is
Willing to yield their lives to Him.
If you enjoy reading about exceptional women,
May I recommend this book?

It is filled with tons of awesome ideas to help you
Put these embellishments to good, creative use!
Nancy – Double Dark Chocolate Banana Bread
In the mood for something different but delicious?
My husband’s eyes lit up when he saw
Nancy Creative’s Double Dark Chocolate Banana Bread!
Guess who picked this week’s recipe selection?
Women In Music – The Women Of Heart
This week’s theme for Music Moves Me is Women In Music – 60’s through 80’s! What an awesome category! So many wonderful musical influences during that time…
Two women I consider musical icons from this era are Ann and Nancy Wilson – the talented sisters who formed the musical group, Heart, in 1974. These talented sisters, with their incredible vocal, guitar-playing, and lyric-writing talents, opened doors for women trying to break into the male-dominated world music industry in their day. Still going strong today, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
I believe that Heart’s best creative work can be found on their early albums. Here’s to Ann and Nancy Wilson – rock on, Barracudas!

Thanks so much for the feature! I had to take my wreath down this last week because the blasted Robin’s kept trying to nest in it!!! Hopefully they’ve found a different place to dwell and I can put it back up! Hilarious!

Oh no – although it is a tad amusing! I’m sure you must be flattered on some level that your wreath was so inviting that the robin’s deemed it “nest-worthy” for a home to call their very own! 🙂
I wonder who your next drab to fab makeover will attract…
Thanks so much for hosting Inspire Me Monday!
Always a wonderful way to begin the week!

Dog And Butterfly is the title track from their second album! They achieved greater commercial success with some of their later songs and albums – but their first two albums, where they had greater creative freedom, remain my favorites. 🙂
I love, love, LOVE Heart! Excellent choices! 🙂 Have a great week! 🙂

Love the Heart classics…..also love them in their 80’s, big hair era, but your selections were really good songs; the ones you immediately think of when you think of Heart. Happy Music Monday!

A friend of mine who I have known for years is a massive Heart fan she used to play them constantly 😉
Have a tanfastic week 😉
Heart is a nice female group from the 80s, and one I don’t often think about. They are really talented singers, but then again this decade really seemed to explode in the music industry. I love the sounds of the 80s!
