All My Belongings by Cynthia Ruchti – Review & Giveaway

All My Belongings

All My Belongings – Book Review

If you have ever had a dark secret from your past haunt you – even if you had nothing to do with the actual circumstances – then you will truly relate to Jayne Dennagee – a woman whose story is revealed in All My Belongings, the latest novel from Cynthia Ruchti!

Jayne is a woman on the run. She is trying to leave her past behind – trying to escape the family history that haunts and consumes her. She will do anything to start life anew. So – when the opportunity arises – Jayne moves halfway across the country to accept a new job as a caregiver to an Alzheimer’s patient – assuming a new name and a new identity in the process.

But – Jayne soon discovers that escaping from one’s past is not as easy as she had hoped. When things start to unravel – as they ultimately do – will Jayne be judged on the basis of her past, or will she be extended grace, mercy and love based on her present-day actions?

Cynthia Ruchti is one of those rare Christian authors who isn’t afraid to delve into controversial subjects that most writers would avoid – and to write about them with sensitivity, eloquence and grace. All My Belongings is a beautiful story that draws you right into the heart and emotion of her characters.

If you are new to the literary world of Cynthia Ruchti, All My Belongings is a great place to start.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
