Music To Inspire You – The Journey by Lea Salonga

This week, we’re free to post a Freebie for the Music Theme at Music Moves Me!

I was in the mood for something Inspirational so I
Searched and found a new-to-me-song called
The Journey by Lea Salonga.

Turns out Lea Salonga is quite an accomplished performer!
Lea is the first Filipina artist to be signed to an international record label
And to receive a major album release and distribution deal in the United States!
Lea is also one of the best-selling Filipino artists of all times.

Lea was the first Asian actress to play the roles of
Eponine and Fantine in Les Miserable on Broadway.
She won the Olivier, Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics and
Theatre World awards for her lead role as Kim in Miss Saigon.
Lea also was named a Disney Legend in 2011 for
Providing the singing voice for Jasmine in Aladdin and
Fa Mulan in Mulan and Mulan II!

Kudos to Lea – I hope you enjoy the song!

  20. Sharon says:

Good to learn about that Chicken Soup book. My father suffered from some sort of dementia in his last few years of life. And it’s a rocky road indeed. It’s hard dealing with someone who becomes suspicious, angry, and unreasonable. He passed away in January, and I praise God that he is now free from the prison his mind and body had become. But I think this book is a valuable resource as we approach the coming years of care with our mother.

Thank you for telling us about it!

    GOD BLESS!

  21. I could totally go for some of that steak!

Thanks for rocking with us! 🙂
