The Super Heroes Bible In 3D – Book Review
If you were to ask your children who their heroes are, how would they answer?
If they are like most children, chances are, they will rattle off the names of the latest super-heroes that they’ve seen on television or at the movies or in video games – or other products aimed at kids!
Let’s face it. We hear more in the media these days about Marvel heroes than about the heroes of our faith.
But – as Christians – do we really want our culture defining the values imparted to our children?
Wouldn’t we rather have our children define what it means to be a hero in biblical terms?
That’s what The Super Heroes Bible In 3D is all about.
The Super Heroes Bible In 3D is a full-sized, hardcover Bible for children that contains the complete text of the New International Readers Version Bible plus features designed to engage young readers in God’s Word.
Some of the features you’ll find in this Bible include:
- Cool 3D Art and a Pair of 3D Glasses
- 200+ Character Profiles that show you how to be a hero of faith
- Cool Codes that you decode using the Super Hero Decoder
- 40 Color Pages of Action-Packed 3D Illustrations by Dennis Jones
- Super Heroes Bible Quiz Challenges
- Powersurge Notes that Highlight Verses with Positive Character Traits
- Book Introductions, Indexes, and Dictionary
Although many of the features may be designed to appeal to children ages 6 through 9, this Bible has a wider age range than stated, as the NIRV text is actually more suitable for an older reader.
I’m not sure that this is the right Bible for every family – or every child – but I think that The Super Heroes Bible In 3D will appeal to young boys who are drawn to the concept of being a hero or super hero and could definitely engage the right child in God’s Word.
I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

This looks really interesting….I’ve noticed a trend lately in making children’s bibles fun and pop-culturey like this. I think it’s a really good idea.
Wow this looks so cool! My son is too young to read it right now, but this is definitely something I will keep in mind for a future Bible to read with him at home! Thanks for sharing at Booknificent Thursday!

When Max gets a little older, I think this will appeal to him. He already loves Spiderman!
If Max loves Spiderman, this would be the perfect Bible for him!
This looks totally cool! Can’t wait to share with my Children’s Church class!
