Wordless Wednesday – Magellan’s New Toy
Thanks to all who extended Magellan birthday wishes last week.
Magellan is blessed to have so many friends!
As you might imagine, Magellan got lots of great gifts
To celebrate his special day.
One of his favorite toys is this cute fuzzy mouse!
The mouse originally came attached by a string to a stick
So that you and your cat can play fun chase games.
The toy, however, was designed for dainty little whispers
Of kittens and not for big powerful bruisers like Magellan!
After a few days of extreme rough housing with the mouse,
The stick has disappeared and all that remains is the
Little pink puff and a dangling string!
As you can see, Magellan is still enchanted by his prey
And by his favorite place to play –
In the middle of my keyboard,
In the midst of a busy day!

Very cute, Magellan! I got some toys a couple of weeks ago for my kitties. Ew! They already have to go through the washer! I love that cat wheel. I think I need a couple of those! Happy week! 🙂

Those fishing toys rarely hold up to the abuse full grown cats give them. Our feline friends love feather toys, but the things don’t last very long.
As for today? Our kitties have been big cuddlers. (Our big black cat just jumped up for his turn on the lap.) I featured one of them in my WW entry. 🙂
