About Callie Grant
Graham Blanchard was founded by Callie Grant, the author behind the books. Callie – a veteran in the publishing industry – founded her company out of her passion to show children how much God loves them and to nurture families’ faith through the simple act of reading together. In the 1990s, Callie was part of the Scholastic, Inc. product development team in Palo Alto. She and her husband Michael live with their daughter and family pup in Austin, Texas.

I wish GB would have been around when my children were younger I could have used some help telling my children about God. The memory of my taking the children to church that stands out most in my mind (and all of them do, really, because there were too few times) was when my daughter was home a month or two from the hospital. My husband does not go to church, so I was there alone with three children under 6 and one of them a preemie, who, healthy enough to go home, was yet to weigh 6 pounds. I left in tears because I could not manage them. Not the best introduction to His mercy, but it was the best I could do at the time.
Blathering story aside, if Create With Joy thinks GB is a good source, they are ok by me.

I was sharing Your Core with my husband – the one that explains the concept of the core to young children – and he loved the concept of this book! The things we take for granted are really quite complex when you get right down to it.
