What Did I Create This Week?
What is it that makes the Christmas holidays so magical for you?
Are you dreaming of a White Christmas or thinking of going Home For The Holidays? Are you excited that Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and planning to Rock Around The Christmas Tree?
Perhaps you’re planning for a Silent Night as you remember the miracle that happened on The First Noel.
No matter what your plans, we wish you all of the Holiday Magic that your heart can hold!
Today’s card is full of surprises. First, the base papers come from Close To My Heart’s Perfect Day Kit, which isn’t a Christmas kit at all – I believe it was originally a Spring release – but these particular papers in the set had a wintery feel to me. If you’d like a peek at a few of the other papers in this set, check out my Perfect Day Greeting Card.
Next, this card is filled with flash, sparkle, shine and texture! There’s lots of layers with minimum bulk. The felt is warm and comforting and soft to the touch – and yet, the embossed metal adds a bit of movement and excitement too!
This card was fun to design yet easy to assemble. I wonder whose face it will bring a smile too…
