Quote Of The Week

Make New Year’s goals.
Dig within, and discover what you would like
To have happen in your life this year.

Thanks Jay – I’ve been fortunate to find a place to keep my parties running but you’re right – it is extremely difficult to focus in a different environment!

Now that the holiday season is past, I hope to be up and running again soon!

For many years I have not made ‘resolutions’, but rather assessed the preceding and made decisions about what to aim for improving in the new one. This year, that is my writing discipline. Looks small when put in print like that – but I think you may appreciate it contains big possibilities!!! Hugs to you for 2015 and hope the pooter gets sorted soon. YAM xx

Writing is a fabulous goal and no small thing to aspire to – I wish you all the best and encourage you to share your ponderings, possibilities and fruitions with us throughout the year at Inspire Me Monday! 🙂

  5. Amila says:

so sorry to hear about the computer. For me that sort of thing happened few years ago due to a virus.that time I was sad because I lost my photographs…
    Happy Wednesday!

      Twitter: CreateWithJoy1

Thanks Amila! I am lucky that I did a back-up at the beginning of December so I an only down a few week’s worth of photos and materials (still, a lot but it could have been a lot worse!)

I lost a year’s worth of photos once that was SO heartbreaking so I feel your pain!

  6. Fried computers are absolutely no fun. Hope you are back up and running soon.

  7. Lysa @ Welcome To My Circus says:

I love the video with the kitties! The Russian Blue on the left hand side reminds me so much of my beloved Gia who is no longer with us! She was such a sweet and precious soul. It made me miss her! Thanks for hosting Wordless Wednesday!

    Wishing you a beautiful week!

    Much love,
    Lysa xx

P.S. I’ll be back once we go live with the Oh My Heartsie Girls Wordless Wednesday Link Party if that’s okay?!?

  8. Ellen Pilch says:

Sorry about your computer. I love the idea of picking one word to guide you, I read a book about that recently. I am torn between “effort” and “focus”. I basically want to give my full attention to all my inpportant relationships and the blog/writing.

Happy New Year! I’ve been struggling with setting resolutions and goals and ended up setting a theme for the year ‘No More Excuses’. I have a number of health issues I’m dealing with and they’ve been limiting me to an extent but I need to find a way forward.

    • Create With Joy
      Twitter: CreateWithJoy1

A theme? I LOVE IT! No More Excuses ROCKS!
I’m sorry to hear that you are dealing with health issues.
Feel free to write me if you’d like to chat as I know what this is like and I am happy to share thoughts, resources, encouragement –
      Or just listen! 🙂

  10. Glenda Cates says:

It has been forever since I have visited but I am so glad I did as my furry friend is still here. I did not know about the computer but I hope you found a new one you like. As I also had to get a new one and it is a love hate relationship.

  11. Ralph says:

Too bad about your computer – mine, too, needs a new hard drive and I am calling around. Happily the always lovely Patti lets me use hers when she is not working. I look forward to computer independence again…

You don’t really realize how integral those tools are to your life until you go without them for extended periods of time!
Hope you are independent again soon as well!

Oh no – fried computer, that’s not a good start to this year. I guess it can only get better 😉
    Good luck!

  13. meowmeowmans says:

We are so sorry to hear about your computer hard drive. 🙁

We hope your new year is off to a great start. We’re going with “joy” and “learning” as our words for this year. 🙂

Thanks for hosting! Happy MEW Year!

  14. Mary Denman says:

    Hi Ramona!

I hope you had a good Christmas. 🙂 Mine was nice with all my kiddos home!

I love the video!! My cats could use a couple of those resolutions!

Glad you’re back up and running.

    Happy New Year!

How are the sweeties? Did Santa bring them lots of goodies?
So glad you had a wonderful Christmas! Just got up tonight – still have to get some files copied over tomorrow – but I can’t tell you how GOOD it feels to be back in my own cozy, creative corner!

  15. Aletta says:

    Happy new year to you!!

  16. Gattina says:

Happy New Year ! Hope your computer won’t be moody in 2015 !

  17. Bethany says:

My only goal for this year is to have it be better than last year. There was too much death and sadness in 2014. I am ready for more joy!

  18. Tracy @ Ascending Butterfly
    Twitter: Tracy_Iglesias

I am so sorry about your computer, I have been there and it’s definitely NO fun at all! Hope you had everything backed up and didn’t lose anything!

I read an article ages ago about setting your yearly goals for your birthday NOT on New Year’s Day as your birthday is the onset of your ‘real New Year’ that always resonated with me, so I didn’t goal set for the first, but I am re-assessing all the things that worked and didn’t work in 2014 so I can be ready for my birthday goal setting time! Thankfully I have until April to procrastinate! LOL

I linked up, Happy New Year, and Happy WW!

What a bummer but hopefully you’re up and running once again.
Fantastic video and I always use the phrase… Seize the Day!
Thanks for hosting and I hope your New Year is going great ;D

    • Neesie says:

I meant to type that cat video gave me such a giggle… thanks ^..^
I really must either slow down my brain for my hands to catch up typing, or speed them up. I’m not sure which would be best!

  24. Kitties Blue says:

We made some New Year’s resolutions. They are on our sidebar. We hope that kitty gets Grumpy Cat to smile. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  25. Bailey says:

Important reminder, it isn’t just the resolution, but the actions that make it happen.

  26. Diane says:

Thank you so much for the great Wordless Wednesday link up!

  27. Diane says:

  28. My goal is to do! So far, so good. Happy New Year!

  29. Lilly's Mom says:
