Magellan Sees A Squirrel!
Here’s His First Person Scoop!
Today, as I was sitting in my favorite window,
I saw a sight that made my head spin.
High in the tree between the buildings,
I saw a squirrel!
He ran back and forth across the trees,
Dropping crunchy acorns across the parking lot.
My eyes grew wide as saucers.
How could I meet this fascinating creature?
I tried running back and forth across the window,
Crawling up the wall, and
Jumping up and down on the furniture,
But nothing I did brought me any closer to that squirrel!
There’s got to be a way to meet him!
I want to know this creature’s secrets!
I will not be defeated!

I love watching them watch squirrels. Arya is always up on my high bookshelf looking out the window and making that chirping sound cats make when they see squirrels or other wildlife outside.
Love this picture of Magellan. You can really see the beautiful markings in his coat. Gorgeous!

Oh yeah. Mine chases them up trees. She usually can never figure out which branch she needs to be on to get to it though.
