What’s On My Work Desk This Week? (WOYWW)
Spring has almost sprung.
Easter is on the horizon.
Are you as excited about these occasions as I am?
Today’s card, Believe, is a celebration of these events – but this card also means so much more!
Words are powerful things – and “Believe” brings with it a message of faith – a message of encouragement – a message of hope.
Believe invites you to move forward in life. It invites you to move towards healing – towards reconciliation – towards a brighter future.
Believe invites you to step out in faith – to embrace the power of the resurrection – and to believe in the person who died and rose for you.
Believe invites you to rise about your self-perceived limitations and to follow your dreams.
One word.
Unlimited possibilities.
When things seem impossible, remember the power of Believe!
To create this card, I layered 2 coordinating papers from SEI’s 6 x 6 Happy Day paper pad over a white card base. I chose these designs because they were bursting with color – the patterns reminded me of fireworks in bright spring pastels!
I then layered 2 coordinating ribbons over the seams (don’t you love those delicious pink polka dots?)
I carefully handpicked through a jar of pink buttons to find three in ascending sizes to draw attention to the word Believe (which, I believe, originated from a tin of K & Company chipboard).
I then added a few additional buttons to the patterned paper to create a 3-D sunburst effect!
