Wordless Wednesday – What Does Magellan See?

Magellan - What Do You See

Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!

Quote Of The Week

What is more beautiful –
Feline movement or feline stillness?

Elizabeth Hamilton

What Does Magellan See?

How many of you remember the catchy 1970s hit
It Never Rains In Southern California1?

It never rains in Southern California,
But girl, don’t they warn ya,
It pours, man it pours…

For the past few days,
We’ve experienced downpours and flood warnings and
Magellan – who is unaccustomed to seeing rain fall –
Could hardly believe his eyes!

Every time I came into my office,
I found him peering through the shades,
Trying to make sense of what he was seeing!

Where are the birds?
Where are the squirrels?
Where is the sun?
When will my friends be back to play?

And then – a sight to behold!
Breaking through the clouds –
Magellan saw his first rainbow!

Rainbow

What is SO amazing about the rainbow is that
It symbolizes a promise and everlasting covenant that
God made in Genesis 9:8-17 not only to mankind but
To every living creature on earth –
Including our precious pets
That He would never again destroy all life on earth by flood waters!

Happy Wordless Wednesday to you!

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could get inside a (cat’s) mind and know what they think about something as common and beautiful and a rainfall. I bet Magellan was at the very least, fascinated.
