Welcome to the Book Nook At Create With Joy!
Welcome to the Book Nook at Create With Joy – a place where book lovers gather to share their collective love of books, reading, and all things literary!
Our goal is to establish a family-friendly community where bibliophiles from all backgrounds – readers, bloggers, reviewers, writers, authors, teachers, librarians, parents, homeschoolers, publicists and publishers – can share what’s new in the world of books, blogging, and publishing!
At each gathering, we’ll share book-related news and fill you in on what’s happening around the blogosphere. We’ll also provide a link where you can share your book-related and literacy-related posts as well!
Please help the Book Nook grow by adding our beautiful blog button and links to your blog/posts and spreading the word on your social media sites so that others can join the fun!

Thanks for joining us Sarah! Isn’t it wonderful to have a place to relax among others who share your love for the written word?
I love your blog and appreciate that you also share books for readers of all ages.
Have a wonderful month – check in often to see what’s new and to share what you’re reading with us! 🙂
Thanks for hosting again!
What I’m planning to read this summer? Probably lots of non-fiction because I have no patience for fiction these days. And probably lots of teen novels as I search for more great books for my kids. I linked up our family’s top books up again; hope that’s OK since it’s summer and people may be looking for reading material for their kids.

That’s perfect Annie – I’m hoping that people will continue to spread the word so – as school lets out and people have more time on their hands to read – people can stop by, look for good books, and visit everyone’s blogs! 🙂
I’ve been focused on non-fiction during the first part of the year so I’m hoping to delve into some of the fiction that’s been stacking up this summer – but honestly, everywhere I look, there’s something grabbing for my attention!

My pleasure Renee – this time round the link is open all month so check back often! 🙂
I just got the 150th anniversary edition of the weekly news magazine The Nation. It is about 300 pages of stories from the magazine’s 150 years. What an amazing list of writers have contributed to the nation: Henry James, John Steinbeck, Gore Vidal, Allen Ginsberg and Dalton Trumbo to name just a few. Not your traditional sort of summer reading but I’m fascinated with it and can’t put it down.

My pleasure Mary – I love your party and your beautiful blog – thanks for sharing on Google Plus! 🙂
What an absolutely cute idea to store your book. I can remember that in the summer the Book Mobil would come to a spot about 1/4 mile down the road. We would take a pile of books home and soon go thro’ them. Visiting from Mommy Monday.

Wondering how this month long linkup time has worked out for readers?
Have you heard any responses, Ramona?
Is this the ongoing format?
Interested to see if it’s being remembered and used regularly…
