Welcome to the Book Nook At Create With Joy!
Welcome to the Book Nook at Create With Joy – a place where book lovers gather to share their collective love of books, reading, and all things literary!
Our goal is to establish a family-friendly community where bibliophiles from all backgrounds – readers, bloggers, reviewers, writers, authors, teachers, librarians, parents, homeschoolers, publicists and publishers – can share what’s new in the world of books, blogging, and publishing!
At each gathering, we’ll share book-related news and fill you in on what’s happening around the blogosphere. We’ll also provide a link where you can share your book-related and literacy-related posts as well!
Please help the Book Nook grow by adding our beautiful blog button and links to your blog/posts and spreading the word on your social media sites so that others can join the fun!
We look forward to getting to know you and invite you to connect with us on:

High Summer Read-A-Thon (July 20-26, 2015) – #HSReadathon
If you would to spend a week of relaxed reading during which you can personally challenge yourself to whittle away at those ever looming TBR piles, shelves and libraries, you’re invited to join the High Summer Read-A-Thon!
This read-a-thon is one of four seasonal events hosted by friend Michelle at The True Book Addict. It’s a low-key, no-pressure event where you can sign up and participate as little or as much as you like.
Authors – if you would like to contribute a book as a prize in consideration for a little publicity – Michelle would love to hear from you too!

Thanks for hosting the linkup amf the reminders about readalongs coming up! We are finishing The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton for June’s Travel the World in Books Readalong and still voting on our July read, a tie between 2 books in South America. Hope you can join us or stop by our Goodreads group to vote!
Thanks for sharing the updates on the Travel The World In Books Readalong with us!
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to join the June reading event but I have the book earmarked for future reading and hope some of our readers can join you for July! 🙂
A readathon sounds fun. I’ve got a pile of books I need to get read and do reviews on. I’m such a slow reader though, I hate to feel pushed… I’m sharing this with my daughter though. 🙂
Michelle’s summer read-a-thons are truly low pressure – no challenges or check ins required – it’s just a nice way to remind yourself to read what you can!
Hope you and your daughter will give it a go – it’s a nice way to connect with others! 🙂
Thanks for sharing about the read-a-thon! I hope you’ll have a chance to join in this week. I’ve been busy with the last days of an out of town guest visiting so I’m really behind on visiting blogs. 🙂
I’m reading – but are there any parties to connect on or do we just leave a comment?
Thanks for sharing this post at Booknificent Thursday this week! Always glad to have you!
