Wordless Wednesday – Expectancy

Tsunami - Expectancy

Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!

Quote Of The Week

The cat is the only animal without visible means of support
Who still manages to find a living in the city.

Carl van Vechten

Expectancy Featuring Tsunami

How do you begin your day? Do you awake each morning anticipating that something amazing is going to happen to you that day – that something miraculous is waiting for you in the moment to come?

That is the way my cats greet me each morning. That is the way that my cats live out each moment of their days!

Sometimes they cannot wait for me to start my day, so they wake me with tales of the adventures to come.

Some days they greet me with eyes full of anticipation as I make my way into the kitchen, eagerly musing over what delicacy awaits them that morning!

When the doorbell rings and I come bearing newly delivered packages, they follow me with tails raised high, anticipating the treasures they just know the delivery person has brought them that day!

Whether they are gifting me with their favorite toy in hopes of engaging me in a favorite game of play, or figuring out ways to chase after the birds and squirrels that tease them outside of our windows, or waiting for Dad to return home from work each day, there is ever a sense of expectancy in their eyes.

Yes, all of us cat servants recognize that “feed me now” look – in this case, it’s the morning “feed me breakfast – and I mean the GOOD stuff” gaze!
