Mind Matters: Get Out Of Your Head And Jump Into Life – Book Review

Mind Matters

Mind Matters by Tanya J Miller

Have you ever been the victim of “stinking thinking”? Do you sometimes let self-destructive thoughts such as worry, doubt and strife run rampant in your mind? Do you ever get so focused on a singular thought that you can’t shift your thoughts to anything else?

The ability to channel our thoughts and control our minds is a critical life skill – one that Tanya J. Miller explores in her debut book, Mind Matters!

Mind Matters is a short book (60 pages) that’s contains 13 chapters of motivational messages and self-help tips. The final chapter – Seven Mind Matters To You –summarizes Tanya’s advice for getting out of your head and living a full and balanced life.

Although I did not find the material contained within Mind Matters particularly ground-breaking, the tips that Tanya offers for controlling your thoughts are helpful.

Tanya has also written Mind Matters: Get Your Mind Right Journal as a companion to this book. Although I did not have the opportunity to review it, I believe that working through the exercises in the journal as you read Mind Matters would probably increase the usefulness of this book.

I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars.

I need to learn how to think positively. Negative thoughts are harmful to the mind and body.

This maybe just what ineed. I’ve had more than a few of these thoughts creep into my path of thinking over the last few weeks. I didn’t use to be this way, I want to be like my old self again.
