Bogie, is a small mix whom I rescued. What a delightful companion. Smart, energetic and lovable. I call him my sage and philosopher since he is knowing and sensitive. He is very handsome and looks like a mini-German Shepherd but isn’t one. He is also an adventurer because if I open the front door he is off.

  2. Marjorie Roy says:

She used to pick up leaves, she knew this was a no, no, of course, we would run after her and laugh, she was so funny, I miss her very much.

  3. Carl says:

When he was younger I taught my dog Shadow to climb a tree at the local park. There was a perfect horizontal limb of a certain tree that I used to place treats on and he’d run up to get them. The kids all thought it was pretty cool to see a dog in a tree.

I trained my dog to kill bugs and she also enjoyed eating them. I have many memories of watching her run around the backyard catching grasshoppers and then carry them around to “play” with them. She enjoyed June bugs the most, though. There would be one or maybe two days in the year when they swarmed the back porch, and I would let her outside to chase them. She ate those things like candy, dozens in a row. I still think of her when I see June bugs. : )

    I live in the US.

I don’t have a dog, but my sister has a long haired dachshund chihuahua mix. He looks just as strange as his name implies!

I have a black labrador who is going to be 15 yrs. old in October (bless her heart). Her name is “Baby”! Before Baby we had the same type of dog and her name was Cleopatra & we called her Cleo she lived until she was 17. The Vet said that my dogs must be very well loved because they normally only live until about 12. We got our dog because this couple had a baby and she was 11 months old pulling the dogs ears and poking her nose until one day Buffy (her name at the time) growled at her and the Father said the dog had to go. A friend told us about her and we had lost Cleo 4 months before that. I begged for that dog and finally hubby gave in. I don’t feel so alone during the day now. The man told us it was either the dog or the baby when he told us the story. We took the dog! bwahahaha She jumped right into the car. She loves rides and food. She is such a little mooch and trained very well and sheds very well, but we both love her to pieces!!!
