Clearing Emotional Clutter – Book Review

Are you living a life filled with relative peace and clarity, or are there areas in your past and present where emotional issues are holding you back?

Do you have healthy ways of processing pain and trauma, or are there toxic patterns in your life that prevent you from living the life of your dreams?

If you feel there is emotional baggage you need to jettison, then international expert Donald Altman can help!

In his latest book, Clearing Emotional Clutter: Mindfulness Practices for Letting Go of What’s Blocking Your Fulfillment and Transformation, Donald blends his mindfulness teachings with research conducted by psychologists, cognitive scientists, and neurologists to help you modify habits and patterns in only a few minutes a day.

Clearing Emotional Clutter is organized into four parts:

  • Part 1, “Recognizing and Clearing Away Old Emotional Clutter,” examines how readers can become more aware of the various kinds of old clutter that has negatively affected their lives.

  • Part 2, “Healing Relational, Cultural, and Ancestral Clutter,” addresses significant relationships, family issues, and unhealthy cultural clutter.

  • Part 3, “Preventing New Emotional Clutter with Daily De-cluttering,” explores a number of effective practices for preventing the buildup of new emotional muck and offers tools for managing daily stress and transitions.

  • Part 4, “Transformation and Fulfillment with Peace, Purpose, and Wholeness,” takes readers beyond emotional clutter to a more satisfying and meaningful place — their deeper life purpose.

Clearing Emotional Clutter provides readers with practical steps towards living lighter, less burdened lives.
