Magellan And Tsunami Review Solid Gold Holistic Delights #ChewyInfluencer
Happy Summer, dear friends! I don’t know how things are in your neck of the woods, but where we live, things are hot, hot, hot! It’s 110 degrees and rising – too hot for my cats to venture beyond the first level of my home!
It wasn’t too hot for my cats to greet me expectantly this morning, however, with their usual chorus of “Mommy, where is breakfast? You really don’t expect us to eat kibble on this hot, hot day, do you? Please fix us something yummy to eat – and fast!
So, off went Mother Hubbard to the cupboard to see what our friends at Chewy.com had sent Magellan and Tsunami to sample this month!
I decided that the perfect dish to serve The Royal Taste Testers on a hot summer day would be a Solid Gold Holistic Delights Creamy Bisque with Tuna & Coconut Milk Grain-Free Cat Food Pouch. Each pouch is 3 ounces (I serve half a pouch to my two cats) and they are sold in cases of 12!
The reason I chose this dish is because it’s so important to keep your cats hydrated during the summer – especially on oppressive days like these – and feeding them meals that are extra creamy and moist seems like the way to go!
This is my first experience with Solid Gold Holistic Delights so there’s a good chance this brand is new to you too! If so, here’s a little information about them:
Solid Gold Holistic Delights provides your kitties with a decadent dinner that’s free of grains and gluten, as well as corn, wheat, soy and artificial colors or flavors! Your cats will be licking their paws with satisfaction after enjoying delectable, nutrient-rich tuna shreds in thick, coconut milk, This creamy, satisfying dish is easily digested and gentle on your cat’s stomach and is suited for all life stages. The single-portion pouches make it easy to serve as a complete meal or tasty dry food topper
The Solid Gold Holistic Delights were rich and creamy as promised – and apparently delectable too! As soon as I placed the plates on the table, my boys went to town on their meals as if they had not been fed for days!
Before I knew it, I saw two empty plates…
And one very happy, paw-licking cat!
Disclosure: Tsunami and Magellan received this sample of food to review as part of the #ChewyInfluencer program. We share their experiences with you because we believe it will benefit and interest you, our readers. Ha, ha, they are some lucky kitties. Tuna and coconut bisque, Magellan and Tsunami eat better than I do. Even as a confirmed dog person I gotta say those cats are very pettty.
no yikes, I meant PRETTY. I’m sure they’re not petty at all. Sweet babies.

Well fortunately the kitties stay inside, but they still get thirsty so they have a non stop supply of water in their dish. Of course, Sabrina being a girl, likes to sit in the sink and drink from the center of the sink as a fresh stream runs down.
Magellan looks so content with his new treats!!

How do your cats not weigh 50 pounds each? lol
Great review. I have never heard of coconut in cat food. I am glad it was a hit.

I’m amazed by some of the “exotic” ingredients they put in cat food these days – but my cats seem to like them!
How adorable are they!
Magellan and Tsunami are members of the clean plate club. Good job, guys! 🙂

Aren’t they great? It is such a pleasure NOT to have to drag home heavy bags of pet food food or cat litter from the store!

Magellan is the brown cat with the white paws and the white patch of fur in his chest.
Tsunami is the big grey cat!
Oh my I can’t imagine coping with heat like that! Your kitties look as if they enjoyed their food – a shame it’s not available in the UK, it sounds as if it would be ideal for Charlie.
It’s pretty warm here in Florida. Your cats have such lovely thick fur coats. Hope they manage to stay cool.
It was paw-licking good. You always give them the best food dish.
“I’d Describe That Meal As Finger-Licking Good – Except I Have Paws!” LOL love it. Sounds like a golden product for kitties.
Thanks for hosting the hop!
I thought it was nommy too.
Beautiful cats! Have a peek at mine 🙂
