Friends Of The Week – Janet and Fiona

This week we wanted to celebrate one of our dear friends, Janet – the blogger behind The Cat On My Head and the Mom to a household of delightful felines – who takes great joy in entertaining us with their antics day in and day out!

Of course, raising fur angels is not always fun and games. For the past year, Fiona, one of Janet’s beautiful beloved babies, has been bravely battling CKD. On December 1, after snuggling and cuddling with her human parents one final time, precious Fiona said her final good-byes and made the journey across the great Rainbow Bridge in the sky.

There is never a good time to lose someone that you love – but saying good-bye to our beloved fur angels during the holiday season is particularly hard.

As Janet writes in You – a tribute poem which you’ll find on the sidebar of her blog:

You’ve fought hard for the past year,
And I’m not ready to say good-bye.
I can’t imagine you not in my life
I am so sad… today I had to cry.
