Wordless Wednesday – His Badness Strikes

His Badness Magellan

Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!

Love Makes Us Do Crazy Stuff!

I had planned such a special day with my Mom. We would begin our day with a special meal (prepared by her for me, of course!) We would then have a morning of fun and games. I brought all of my favorite toys to her for our entertainment. She’s always looking for ways to add movement to her day. What better way to do that then to run around with my chase toys, entertaining me with a mouse on a stick?

But, she is always getting side-tracked by other things. Books – notebooks – pens – little scraps of paper – phones – and big bright screens that always seem to take her focus away from me! Whenever she isn’t looking (and frequently when she is!), I try to take them out with my highly weaponized claws but she and my dad always seem to figure out a way to stop my and give me a time out.

So, kitties in training – I figured out a way to give her a time out today!

It’s dastardly, I know. Not for the faint of heart. But if you are desperate for attention – truly in need of a way to get your message across – I promise you this will do the trick.

I turned her entire world sideways!

Sideways PC

You should have seen the look on her face. She was mortified! I did it under the guise of love too. At the worst possible time – right in the middle of something important (of course, to hear her tell it, she’s always in the middle of something important!) I jumped up her lap looking for love – and just happened to flop on the magic combo of keys on her keyboard – to orient her entire screen sideways!

I completely shut her down for the day until Dad came home and made things right.

Am I sorry for what I did? Do I consider my act of passion a high crime, a misdemeanor, or even a misdeed? Here is my final thought on the subject:

Bad Cat

What do you think? I know the Downward Dog understands where I’m coming from!

Magellan, that was naughty, for sure. But necessary and brilliant, too! 🙂

Mine are always doing something like this, though they’ve never managed to turn everything sideways!! That takes real skill!

  8. Terra Heck says:

  15. Cathy Armato says:

I totally agree that it was a crime of passion and a harmless cry for attention! Ma should have expected it, serves her right if you ask me, LOL! I love the “mug shot” of you, BOL!!! I had to Pin it to my Adorable Dogs & Cats board.

  16. A cat’s gotta do what a cat’s gotta do. Never feel guilty about trying to give your human some down time. I try to slobber Mom’s keyboard so it dies but she keeps moving my head. ♥

  17. Too funny!

I HAD to pin your bad kitty! 😉 {I hope he goes viral!!!} I think I’d be in a state of shock if my screen were somehow magically turned sideways, too. Glad your hubby was able to fix it when he returned home.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend,

    Barb 🙂
    *stopping in from Friendship Friday.

  18. Happy Sunday selfie! And I have to add, that all things should stop, for at least a short time, to have some fun and share a cuddle and some love!

That’s dastardly. Thankfully I’ve got two shih tzus that can’t reach my keyboard. They’re more into barking at any sound and also if I say the phrase, “they’re here.”

  20. MOL you are SO full of mischief!

    Harvey agrees with you 100%

Oh my goodness! That had to have you flabbergasted. I know I always worry because a certain combination of keys (those pesky function keys at the top) can seriously mess up a computer. I know because my ex-husband did it to a computer once (it’s not just the cats. lol).

Love the Downward Dog. Is he not just the sweetest!?
