Where’s The Beef?
Ziwi Peak #ChewyInfluencer Review

Listen closely. Do you hear a thunderous chorus of feline roars? If so, you are probably listening to the early morning rabble-rousing of my boys, the mighty Tsunami and Magellan, demanding to know, “Where’s The Beef?”

You see, a few days ago, a special delivery arrived at our home from Chewy.com – their favorite place on the planet! This box didn’t contain just any treat – it contained a dozen 6.5 oz. cans of Ziwi Peak Beef Recipe Canned Cat Food.

Magellan Examines The Ziwi Peak Beef

My cats were very excited to see Ziwi Peak arrive in our home because they had the privilege of sampling their Ziwi Peak Venison and Fish before and they loved it!

But when several days passed in our home – and no Ziwi Peak Beef showed up on the Royal Taste Testers’ plates – they had a beef to pick with me!

“Where’s The Beef???!!!” I could hear their cries echoing throughout our home. I certainly did not need to set the alarm clock to get out of bed this morning!

Their eyes were wide with accusation.

No, Tsunami, I have not been snacking on your Ziwi Peak in the wee hours of the morning while you are sleeping. I had enchiladas for dinner last night – not Ziwi Peak Beef! (I’m not sure that he believes me).

No, Magellan, I did not share your Ziwi Peak with other kitties who I thought might enjoy a gourmet meal! (Magellan caught me giving a bag of holistic cat food that he refused to eat to a friend who had adopted a new kitten and he was miffed for days!)

I reminded Tsunami and Magellan that I always have their best intentions in mind when it comes to mealtime. I just enjoy making their mealtimes special. I love to surprise them at just the right moment when they receive new treats!

Their churlish response?

Where’s The Meowing Beef!!!

Ziwi Peak Lover

Here’s what you need to know about Ziwi Peak in case you are looking for just the right food to share with your precious cats:

This 100% all-natural, grain-free diet contains 93% premium free range, grass-fed New Zealand meat, organs, and bone that perfectly matches the whole prey diet that carnivorous cats have eaten for centuries. It’s free of added hormones, preservatives, fillers, grains, rice, potatoes, and antibiotics,, and GMOs and perfect for cats of all life stages! And, to keep the formula as natural as possible, Ziwi Peak’s complete and balanced nutrition does not include TSPP, BPA or carrageenan in the canning process.

 Tsunami Loves Ziwi Peak Beef

When the beef finally made its way to the Royal Taste Tester’s table, Tsunami simply couldn’t get enough. He ate everything on his plate and helped himself to a portion of finicky Magellan’s food as well!

Ziwi Peak is one of the healthiest brands I have found to feed my cats. The local chain stores don’t carry it, but fortunately, I rely on the convenience of Chewy.com to deliver treats to Tsunami and Magellan each month. Be sure to visit them to see the array of amazing goodies they have to offer your cats, dogs and other animals you share your home with!

Disclosure: Magellan and Tsunami received a free sample of this product from Chewy.com as members of the #ChewyInfluencer Network. The opinions we’ve shared reflect our personal experience with this product. We are also Chewy.com Autoship customers and we highly recommend their service to you!

Once Chewy starts delivering to your door you will wonder how you ever lived without them! They have a wider selection and better prices than our local stores – and we don’t have to lug the stuff home!

  9. Thanks for hosting – my cats, Oliver and Ian, do not care for fish either – they would be also demanding beef only!

I can see why you are so excited! This food looks delicious. My kitties would be excited about getting a package like this too. 🙂

  14. Anne Robinson says:

That is a cute marketing technique! Where’s the beef? Oh goodness, made me smile thinking of the old Wendy’s Hamburger commercial years ago with old Clara Peller. The beefy food made me think of it. HUGS to you

  15. Now this sounds mighty interesting. I would love to try this as have been hunting for just this sort of product, however we don’t get this in the UK. Drat, foiled again!

  16. Ziwi Peak sounds great. My kitties get very vocal when it’s mealtime! 🙂

  17. Ellen Pilch says:

    Such cuties, glad they enjoyed.

  18. Thanks for telling us about this food especially since it’s carageean free. Our humans let us try real beef cut into little pieces and we went wild over it! It would be nice to get some real beef in a can too though so we might try this and see how it compares.

  19. speedyrabbit says:

My Cousin Guinnie is a fussy eater,I wish she could have this in the UK,xx Speedy

  20. Would you believe we can hardly get Ziwi Peak here in New Zealand, let alone review it!

Lucky boys…getting to try all this new food. Magellan sounds like Arya. She is SO finicky. I was feeding them Iams cat treats and Arya did not like them. Alice did, of course. So, I bought some Beyond treats to give to Arya. She wouldn’t eat those either. Well, Alice finished the Iams and I gave them both the Beyond treats. I’ll be darned if Arya didn’t eat them! She must have thought I was trying to slip the Iams to her before. ?

  22. Cathy Keisha says:

I love my Ziwi food! I’m not a beef eater but I bet all the flavors are as good as the one I tried. You’re right, it’s super healthy.
