I’m Possible: Jumping Into Fear And Discovering A Life Of Purpose – Book Review
If you are feeling down about yourself and your life – if you are standing before a mountain that you need a miracle to move but can’t begin to even visualize what a mustard seed looks like – if you feel hopeless and need tangible proof that hope and possibility exists – don’t hesitate: pick up a copy of I’m Possible: Jumping Into Fear And Discovering A Life Of Purpose by Jeremy Cowart and begin to read this amazing book right now!
I’m Possible by Jeremy Cowart is my current pick for the most inspiring autobiography of 2019!
I’m Possible tells the story of Jeremy Cowart – a guy who came to fame when he was named the “Most Influential Photographer On The Internet” by Huffington Post in 2014.
Since then, Jeremy has gone on to accomplish dreams and found movements and ministries most of us can’t even begin to conceive of.
But what’s most fascinating about Jeremy isn’t his accomplishments but his backstory.
When Jeremy was growing up, he was, by the world’s standards, a complete and utter failure. Academically speaking, he was a dud of a student. He constantly brought home Cs, Ds, and Fs on his report card. What really put the nail in the coffin of his fragile childhood self-esteem were the scores on a 2-day aptitude test, where his scores ranged from 5/100 to 15/100 in most categories.
When Jeremy told his parents he couldn’t do something, he wasn’t being a lazy boy. He totally and utterly believed it.
To compensate for his academic deficiencies, however, God gave him the gift of good, godly parents who believed in him. Whenever Jeremy told his parents that he couldn’t do something, they always told him one thing:
You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
So – when Jeremy first discovered that he had an aptitude for art, his parents encouraged him to pursue his dreams. They believed in him and constantly encouraged him to set the bar for his life just a little higher than he felt capable of reaching.
Jeremy’s journey wasn’t easy but as he began to listen to his parents believe the things they told him and slowly, his life began to change.
I’m Possible shows us how sometimes, no matter how bad a hand we feel like we are dealt in life, God can use the gift of encouragement to inspire others. Jeremy is also living proof that, when we believe God’s word and apply Scripture to our lives, we can truly transform ourselves and the world around us.
Are you an artist or a creative person? You need to hear what Jeremy says!
Do you feel called to impact the world for God and to leave a legacy behind? Let Jeremy be your role model!
Here is a random quote from the book to give you an idea of what you’ll find inside:
All of us need encouragement. All of us need the positive light of positive people, especially when we’re creating new things or exploring and implementing our ideas. In fact, the quality of our creative community can be the single most important factor in determining whether we become better or bitter. Finding people who are steadfast and uplifting turns us into the best versions of ourselves…
Truly, I cannot say enough good things about this book. Be sure to check out the video below!
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
