Friend Of The Week – Arranged Words
How is your week going? Now that the election is behind us, it’s time to take a deep breath, clear our heads and focus on things that will calm us and soothe our souls as we head into the holidays. As I was browsing through the links this weekend, I found the perfect blogger to help us do just that. Her name is Dixie and she’s the creative spirit behind Arranged Words.
Dixie is a Canadian blogger who loves to read and create by painting, knitting, carving stamps and baking. She’s also a nature lover who enjoys spending time bird watching, gardening, and photographing the beauty of the great outdoors. Although she currently resides in “the south” (Ontario), over the years she’s also called Nova Scotia (her home town), Calgary, Alberta and Inuvik her home.
Because of her time in the Northwest Territories (NWT) which sit high above the Arctic Circle, themes of light and darkness fascinate her. She loves the changing of seasons too; it’s a joy to see she expresses these themes in her photos and artwork.
One of the things that I love about Dixie and her blog is that she’s a true artist, and you never know what you’re going to find when you visit her. Scenes of her beautiful homeland? Glimpses into her art studio? Her latest watercolor, card, or short story? Whatever she’s working on, it will definitely delight you!
