Friend Of The Week – Zoolatry
This weekend, my husband and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary. Among the things we did to celebrate was watch the newly digitized recording of our wedding. As we listened to the best man’s toast, we were struck by the testimony he gave of the steadfastness and stability of my husband’s loving character. The types of things that my husband did then for the people around him then are the same types of things my husband continues to do to this day.
When I think of Ann Adamus, the blogger behind Zoolatry, I get that same sense of caring and consistency of character. Ann is a pet blogger, an animal lover and an incredible caregiver at heart. She’s a gal who not only loves and cares well for the humans and fur-family in her life, but she’s someone who constantly reaches out to pet parents around the world and looks for ways to bring joy and healing into their lives!
Ann’s blog is full of delightful stories and pictures of her captivating cats… dogs… and fun events like Dr. Seuss Day 2021 that you won’t want to miss! Making badges is her jam. Ann is a self-proclaimed sufferer of OCCDPSD, an acronym for obsessive compulsive cat dog Photoshop disorder. How many sightings of her creative disorder can you spot on her blog and across the internet?
Since Ann loves to help others, her friends recently rose to the occasion when her sweet cat June, needed a better name for her new companion than the rather bland sounding “orange kitty”. There’s no need to hang in suspense – learn the story behind the candidates and see what name they chose!
