Friend Of The Week – The House On Silverado
Spring is in the air and signs of spring are all around us! Have you had the chance to enjoy the fresh air and sunlight, see the flowers in bloom, watch the wildlife in your area return?
Niky – the Iowa blogger behind The House On Silverado – has been celebrating spring by finding ways to bring nature indoors! She recently participated in a Pinterest Challenge where bloggers were asked to share their best birdhouse spring décor ideas. If you love birdhouses as much as I do, you will not only appreciate the lovely centerpiece she created (complete with tutorial), you’ll also want to follow the blog hop links to see what other participants in the challenge created!
Speaking of creating, I know I shouldn’t tempt you with decadent delights, but I absolutely couldn’t resist Niky’s Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies (seriously, can you?) Treat yourself and then use that as incentive to take longer walks before the heat of summer kicks in!
