Friend Of The Week – A Day Of Small Things
Happy July dear friends and Happy Independence Day Weekend to you! This Sunday marks our 243rd year as an independent nation! How are you planning on celebrating?
In honor of the holiday, we wanted to celebrate someone who’s home and blog is overflowing with beautiful elements of red, white and blue. We searched high and low and loved every patriotic post we discovered – but this week’s honors goes to Amy – the blogger behind A Day Of Small Things. Amy resides in Annapolis – the beautiful capitol of Maryland – with her husband who’s in the Navy and her adorable kindergarten-age daughter!
One of the things I love about visiting Amy is that her home and blog are always so welcoming! This summer, she reminds us to slow down – take a step back in time and experience the joys of porch life – and make your family and friends your priority!
The porch is the perfect place to plan your days, sit and people watch, and experience the sweet joys of summer. While you’re on your porch sipping sweet tea, why not grab a journal and jot down your daily blessings as well?
Making new friends and deepening existing relationships is a joy. Be sure to visit Amy this week, explore her blog, leave her some comment love, and congratulate her for being our Friend Of The Week at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy!
