Friend Of The Week – Pine Cones And Acorns
Hello Friends – I hope you’re having a fabulous week! This week I wanted to introduce you to Elizabeth from Pine Cones And Acorns and share some of the mouth-watering Christmas treats she’s been sharing!
Elizabeth is a wife, daughter, sister, step-mother, aunt, and grandmother who has traveled the world for most of her life. She loves adventure and originally wanted to become an Egyptologist who went on archaeological digs, looking for the next King Tut. Since she hates sand, however, she ended up pursuing advanced degrees in International Relations, a Certificate in Holocaust Literature, and interning for Senators and at the Institute of World Affairs and the Library of Congress. Her life is fascinating – you can read about many more of her accomplishments on her blog!
As you might imagine, Elizabeth loves to entertain. One of her favorite recipes to make is this No Bake Chocolate Peppermint Tart. It’s beautiful – it’s delicious – it’s festive – and it only takes 10 minutes to put together. What a perfect recipe for holiday hostesses!
Elizabeth also loves giving homemade gifts during the holiday season. What could be more delightful than receiving a box of Chocolate Covered Christmas Oreos to snack on? The gift is perfect for those who like to personalize and make their gifts, for those on a budget, and for those who like quick and easy crafty gifts. Your kids will enjoy decorating these cookies with you!
Making new friends and deepening existing relationships is a joy. Be sure to visit Elizabeth this week, explore her blog, leave her some comment love, and congratulate her for being our Friend Of The Week at Friendship Friday at Create With Joy!
