What Are Your Favorite Friends Up To This Week?
Hello friends – hello April! Can you believe that we have just completed the first quarter of 2022? What wins are you celebrating this season? What new plans are you looking forward to in the season ahead?
This week I’d like to share some of the things that are happening in our community. I’d like to start out by sending our love and condolences to Deborah Barnes and Dan over the epic loss of precious Zee, their larger than life Maine Coon who was not only beloved by fans around the world, but who stole my heart well over a decade ago when I first began blogging. She wrote an incredible tribute to him on her blog – I encourage each of you to stop by and to ease Deb’s heartache by leaving her a little love. And – if you are new to Zee And Zoey’s Cat Chronicles, I encourage you to explore it – there is SO much to fall in love with over at Deb’s!
Next, I’d like to give a shout-out to Joanne at Slices Of Life, who recently updated us on the progress she’s been making as she pursues her Word Of The Year , “Fresh”. Do you now she’s been out in the woods hiking to the tune of 10,000 or more steps most days? Recently she knocked it out of the park with just under 17,000! She attributes the beautiful weather and scenic trails to her success but still, that’s just amazing Joanne!
Finally, Amy at A Day Of Small Things created a beautiful post of home décor photos interspersed among the beautiful lines of Emily Dickenson’s poem, A Light Exists In Spring. If you’re feeling poetic, artistic, in need of tranquility and calm, or just enjoy looking at lovely homes filled with loves, drop by Amy’s place!

So sorry to hear about Zee. We are still trying to adjust to the sad loss of our Tucker. A good pet is a true blessing, even in memory.

What a beautiful cat and such a loss for Deb and her family. We had been without a cat for several years and recently got a one-year-old named Henry. We forgot just how much we missed having one! We have only had him for a couple of weeks and he has won our hearts. Have a blessed weekend and thanks for hosting! 🙂
