Thank you for hosting the party, Ramona! This week I’m sharing the July edition of Hearth and Soul, a blog post with video of my Top 3 Baking Tips and a virtual visit to Kensington Palace, the London home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Happy 4th of July to you and yours!
The video made from clips of immigrants from 1900-1920 gave me goosebumps, because all of my grandparents came over in that time frame, and who knows, maybe they and a couple of young aunts and uncles (now all gone) were in those pictures. I can’t even begin to imagine what they thought when they saw the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline after their long voyage. And, I’m told that my maternal grandfather made more than one round trip before he was able to bring his family over. Yes, I can’t begin to imagine.

The strawberry pudding looks like a good idea. DH has a mild banana allergy so I can’t make banana pudding. This could be a nice alternative and it’s really festive. Great song pick. Thanks for joining us on the dance floor this week, my dear. Have a boogietastic week!
