Inspire Catholic Bible: The Bible For Coloring & Creative Journaling

One of the spiritual disciplines that has truly changed my life is reading the Bible and getting to know God’s Word – and one of the creative habits that has truly helped me to dig deep into Scripture is personalizing my Bibles through note-taking, creative journaling and coloring. The more time I spend reflecting on God’s Word, the easier it is to store it in my heart and to apply it to my life.

There are many journaling Bibles on the market these days to help you do this, but one of my favorite lines of journaling Bibles is the Inspire NLT Bibles from Tyndale. There’s something about their beautiful vintage-inspired illustrations that truly speaks to my heart/

Now, Tyndale is making Bible journaling accessible to an even larger audience with their latest edition to the Inspire family with the Inspire Catholic Bible – the Bible For Coloring & Creative Journaling!

Inspire Catholic Bible 1

The Inspire Catholic Bible features more than 450 beautiful Scripture line-art illustrations plus two-inch-wide margins for note-taking, journaling, and personal reflections. This Bible is written in 8.65 font on white, high-quality paper and features a beautiful Rose Gold cover with foil lettering and a pink-floral and butterfly spine that makes it distinct from any other Bible on the market and any other Bible in the Inspire line!

For those of you who may be wondering what the difference is between a Protestant and a Catholic Bible, a Catholic Bible contains 12 additional books in their Old Testament that the Protestant Bible does not. These 12 books – which were the subject of debate throughout the centuries and formalized as church canon by the Catholic Church in 1546 at the Council of Trent – are known to Protestants as the Apocrypha (books which have historical value but may contain errors and are not inspired by God).

The 39 Old Testament books that the Protestants recognize as inspired are the same books that are recognized by the Jewish people as part of the Hebrew canon. Both the Catholic and Protestant church agree on the 27 books of the New Testament.

If you are one of my readers who have expressed an interest in Bible journaling but have been holding out for a Catholic version of a journaling Bible, the Inspire Catholic Bible is perfect for you!

IF you are not Catholic, then I highly recommend the Inspire Bible Large Print Bible to you!
