Wordless Wednesday – The Boxer

Legend - The Boxer

Welcome to Wordless Wednesday at Create With Joy!

Today, the ever-expressive Legend encountered
One of his long-standing adversaries –
A two-sizes, too-small box.

Try as he might –
And he tried mighty hard –
He just couldn’t fit into that box!

Which leads us to today’s quote by St. George Mivart:

We cannot without becoming cats,
Perfectly understand the cat mind.

Of course, our cats
Might be thinking the same thing about us
When they watch us try to squeeze into our
Two sizes, too small pants!

Food for thought?

Have a fabulous time mingling at this week’s party!

That’s so cute that he tried to squeeze in there 🙂 One of my cat’s LOVES paper and tears any apart that she gets her paws on. I’ve come to the conclusion this the real reason why she seems to like birthday parties and Christmas so much 😉

    Happy WW!

It’s so funny how cat’s love boxes! I saw an image on Pinterest of a cat sitting snugly in an egg carton. The look was priceless!

  23. Whose pants are two sizes too small … not mine. My cats will never see that at my house because I have been up and down the weight scale so many times I have a collection of pants in every size I could ever want … I just bring out the next size as soon as I think I need it 🙂 That said, I am sure my cats have seen plenty of things that make them grateful that they are cats and not people … who do you know that could have so much fun trying to get into a box … You gotta love um …

Sometimes when the dogs really get on my nerves, I wish for a sweet playful cat once more.

  26. And poor Legend doesn’t have Spanx to help with that tight fit.

Love your photo and your post!! I often wonder what my cats are thinking, especially when they start darting around the house at a million miles an hour for no apparent reason! My two love boxes too – they ignore all the expensive toys I’ve bought over the years but go crazy for a box or a bag lol 🙂

Thanks for hosting ! I loved your post today. It reminds me of my dad’s fat cat Rusty (I had done a post of him in boxes called Rusty the Christmas Spy), because he ALWAYS tries to fit in boxes way too small. I have seen him try to get in to a tiny square box before..laughing to myself and saying, What are you thinking!? Cats like this crack me up…but you are right- us humans often try to squeeze in to things too 🙂
