I was inspired by the memory of the most delicious French Onion Soup I had when I was in college. But…the push was the fact that I had unknowingly unplugged my fridge and thus the frozen soup bones needed to be roasted and simmered for broth. And then…of course I needed to make something. That…is how the post of French Onion Soup came to pass. A back story to the post if you will.
