Here’s What’s Inspiring Me…
Our 100th Week Celebration
Thanks to all of you who joined us for our 100th week of Inspire Me Monday!
I am so excited to have shared this milestone with each of you!
Shuji – Nature-Themed Photography
Christmas may be the most wonderful time of the year for some –
But it can also be one of the most hectic for others.
Before we start today’s party, I’d like to invite you to
Sit down – take a deep breath – and spend a few moments
Reflecting on Shuji’s beautiful photography!

Christmas can also be one of the most difficult times of the year
For those who are alone, who are facing hardships of any kind,
Or are experiencing a season of grief.
Today I’d like to encourage you with an incredible story of hope –
The inspirational story of Horatio Spafford –
The hymn writer who wrote It Is Well With My Soul
And the circumstances under which the song was written.

I like the idea of Inspiration Monday.
Monday’s often get the short end of the stick

It’s always a wonderfully positive way to start the week! 🙂
Thanks Mary – you’ve been here from the beginning and I appreciate it so much! 🙂
Thanks so much for the party – Alice x
You’re welcome Alice – I’m so glad you could make it! 🙂
Hi there! Getting back on schedule after the Thanksgiving break ;o) working on scheduling all my posts for the week and I wanted to be sure to get over here first thing! I’ll be out and about meeting some of the other participants in this week’s hop, looking for new creative ideas for the holidays. Hope you are having a blessed Christmas season, my friend! Nina
It seems like the Christmas season is just flying by! I am doing my best to savor every moment!
Have a blessed week dear Nina!
Today’s posting has so many great things, I especially enjoyed the video of ship sailing off Newfoundland.
I have a question for your readers, what is the hardest thing to do for Christmas, I find it is getting my cards out.
What a great question Marjorie – I invite our readers to share their thoughts in the comments!
(Perhaps I should ask that this week at Friendship Friday as well!)
Getting the house cleaned and doing anything that involves going to the post office (which includes getting cards send and long distance packages wrapped) are booth a doozy for me!
Soooooo, I am not the only one. Good to know.
I”m sure you are far from alone Marjorie! My biggest incentive in getting them done is the longer I wait – the longer the lines! 🙂
Have a wonderful week!
Another awesome post as always! Thanks for sharing the video about the song “It Is Well With My Soul.” It was sung at my brother’s funeral. I found it so uplifting and now I know the story behind this hymn. Thanks for hosting and have a great week.
Horatio Spafford’s hymn is an amazing testament to the power of the Holy Spirit to come into the heart and mind of a grieving man and inspire him to worship God and bring Him glory. I love that hymn.
Thanks so much for hosting!
Thank you for hosting this great party: Create with Joy, the name is perfect for this C’mas holiday, which I hope you are enjoying it! Have a lovely second week of advent.
FABBY
Thanks Fabby – you too (and can’t wait to see how lovely your home is looking!)
My fish is my biggest inspiration lately 😉
What kind of fish?
Wonderful and inspiring features, today, as always. Thanks for hosting and have a lovely week.
Poppy
Thanks Poppy – you too!
I love those paper hearts! Might have to give them a go… Hardest thing about Christmas? Writing the cards – most definitely! I’m sending a lot more e-cards this year as the postage rates here in the UK are becoming ridiculous.
Grazie per il tuo bellissimo link party e per la mia foto!!
Translation: Thank you for your wonderful link party and for my photo!
You’re welcome Bella – I love your beautiful blog! 🙂
Thank you for hosting. I hope you have a wonderful week.
Thanks Connie – you too!
I do not know how you do all you do!
You are the busiest and probably most organized person I know.
How can I get that to rub off on me?
Thanks Laura – have a fabulous week!
Thanks so much for hosting! And a big thank you for featuring my Brown Sugar Cookies! I hope you have a great week.
Blessings,
Nici
You’re so welcome Nici – they look both beautiful and delicious!
This song is an old family favorite. Every time it is sung it seems to inspire my family to sing louder and with the Spirit.
We sung it last at my Grandmother’s funeral.
Thank you for the memory.
~Naila Moon
Wow – I bet it brought back some poignant memories for you!
For me, that song reminds me of my first pastor at the church where I came to Christ.
He was an old time preacher who loved singing hymns – I probably learned the song there.
Have a wonderful week and thanks for joining us Nalia!
Thanks for hosting!
Thank you so much for hosting the party. Have a wonderful week.
I love Arnoldo tag and heart, his art is so wonderful! Lovely duck photo too. Thanks for hosting!
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season Lisa! I love Arnoldo’s tag and Shuji’s photo too!
Thanks for the feedback – I always love hearing what resonates with everyone (and I’m sure the creators do too!)
A friend used that song: It is well to encourage me once. It’s incredible.
