Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!
Quote Of The Week
Our perfect companions never have fewer than four feet.
Colette
Today There Are Two!
As anyone who has cats knows,
It is one thing to come across a
Fabulous natural shot of your subject,
But quite another to capture it for posterity to enjoy!
Cats in particular seem to have a sixth sense
For detecting cameras of any type
That immediately trigger a “move and ruin the shot” response
The moment you point and click!
The only thing that is more difficult than photographing one cat
Is photographing two or more of them at once!
So, I was thrilled to capture today’s shot of Magellan and Tsunami
Hanging out in one of their favorite places – the kitchen table!

Good morning!
Lovely to see you so bright and early Antonette (metaphorically speaking for me) – oh, the odd hours we bloggers keep!
Lovely pictures 🙂
Thanks for hosting …
Nice to see you so early on the list this week!
Which is a nice reminder to pop by your Monday party…
cute captures….
Thanks Amy!
Thanks for stopping by AMC and linking up. Yes, we adopted the cat and the fun and games begin. He has pretty much been spending most of his time at our place for over 12 months but now he no longer has his original home to go to, which will make things interesting for a little bit and the new neigbours.
I’m so happy to hear that you adopted Pepsi! Will there be a Cola in his future?
How is he adapting to his one and only new home?
Please keep us posted – I am SO happy for you both! 🙂
they are so lovely….
Thanks Amy!
Beautiful photos looking even more regal heheh!
Have a cutetastic week 🙂
Thanks Steve – it’s fun to see them together!
Enjoy your week!
Great shot. They look too relaxed to move in that photo.
They are VERY relaxed in this photo – they must have had a good breakfast and a good nap – usually they are stalking me for their next meal (even though they always have dry food available to them, they love to stalk me in hopes of something tastier!) 🙂
The video “One Picture Saves A Life” was enlightening. I’d never considered how a good/bad photo can determine whether or not an animal is adopted.. But you can definitely see the difference it makes after viewing the video!

So glad I came across this video to share – one of our regular readers is an animal shelter blog that shares the most AMAZING photos – if you read their blog and any other animal shelter blog you will truly see the difference well groomed animals and good photos and stories make!
Have an amazing week!
Kitchen table? You’ve got books, lots of them, in your kitchen! Nice…
Good shot of your two furry friends.
Yes, Claudia – have tons of cookbooks and home related books as well! 🙂
Lovely photos! 🙂 have a great week
Thanks Evija – hope your week rocks too!
Your cats are such lovely colors, and such good friends. Have a great week.
They look great Hanging out in you kitchen table, I am sure the love having the company.
Have a wonderful rest of the week!
They do! It’s really THEIR table at this point – they have totally taken over it!
They look so cute and relax in this photo! A great capture =)
Great picture of both cats!! Thank you for hosting and have a wonderful day! xx Ashleigh @SimplyWright
My pleasure Ashleigh – hope you week rocks!
Beautiful kitties 🙂 Mine always blink for the flash.
Thanks Ellen! I think the flash is what turns them off to the camera – I now try to capture most of my photos by natural light – of course that isn’t always possible…
I have two cats and it’s darn impossible to have a Christmas card type shot with the two of them. They never cooperate at all.
Isn’t that just like a cat? You have to start early to have any chance at getting those Christmas photos! 🙂
Great photo of your two kitties! The only way I can get a good photo of my cat Koko is to sneak up on him, because if he sees the camera he will come running towards me and ruin the shot I was trying to get 🙂
Thanks Joy – and I SO know what you mean! I virtually have to hide the camera too because as soon as they see it, it’s their cue to play or look away…
This is my favorite photo of your two cats!
Wow – thank you so much! I am always thrilled to get any type of decent shots of my cats together!
I wonder what Seth would think of my cat pictures this week?! We visited the shelter for our WW shots this week! 🙂
My cats always move before the camera responds. Your pics are great today (and usually).
That’s such a great picture Ramona! 🙂 Well done.
That’s a great video. It really gives awesome tips!!
Thanks again for hosting and happy Wednesday!
True. I love our four footed dogs.

What a wonderful shot of Magellan and Tsunami! We absolutely LOVE it! 🙂
Thank you for hosting, Ramona. Have a terrific day!
My cousins always are sharing to adopt an animal all over facebook and my cousin Tommy, and his brother and nephew all adopted dogs. We saved one from going to the pound years ago because this couple had a baby & it grew up and was poking our dog in the eyes & nose etc & I guess she had enough & growled so the father said she had to go & our friend told us about her and we had put down our dog 2 yrs before that & we were so ready and now “Baby” is ours! We love her so much! Have a great day. Great Video… do you mind if I share it?
My human says I’m ADD, but I’m kind of still a kitten, even though I’m over a year old now.
You two kitties are beautiful. You look a lot like my feline sis Sophie.
Thanks Emma – Sophie must be gorgeous!
Oh how long have we got for me to tell you about my trials and tribulations when trying to capture my dog. Firstly she’s a real diva and thinks she’s above such things, secondly if she is in the mood (which can be rare) then if you bend down or go to her level (which for a mini shihtzu is really low, then she thinks it’s game on!
I’ve got thousands of snaps but few really treasure keeping photos… but I’ll keep trying.
You did a fantastic job capturing your stars ^..^
Thanks for hosting and I wish you a great week ahead
What a super sweet photo of Tsunami and Magellan. At our house it is hard to get a photo of one cat without another photobombing. And, of course Giulietta and Fiona are almost inseparable. I was surprised today to have Giulietta by herself. Hugs, Janet
What a gorgeous photo of your two beauties! 🙂
I tried to take a picture of a cockerel yesterday which was not out of it’s chicken house for some time. It looked so cute when he poked his head out and then directly back in again. Unfortunately, he knew exactly when I took my camera. I had no chance 🙂
That is a great shot of of Magellan and Tsunami!
Well done!
Have a great week!
🙂
Traci
Thanks Traci – you too!
I always love pictures of your cats. They are so cute. 😉
Thanks Mary – it makes me happy that my cats bring others so much joy! 🙂
Both cats are so adorable.
Thanks so much!
Thanks for hosting & for the beautiful pictures. Happy Wordless Wednesday 🙂
Very nice. Love the pic.
Such pretty kitties! So So So pretty!
They’re to adorable.
Hi,
I love the pictures! Dropping by from Cat Thursday.
Ah, the running at the sound of the click. I know all about that! But I also love the sneak-attack head-bump right before the snap. I have countless photos of blurry noses!
Oh, such beautiful cats. Happy Pet Parade.
Those two are so cute together! I have the same problems with my cats and photos. It is really hard to get them both in the same frame. I am not one of the lucky cat owners whose kitties like to snuggle. I usually use treats and toys to get them into the same area.
Hi! Dropping from Sincerely, Paula’s Linky #148 #149. What a nice shot! I have two cats too but they don’t seem to mind me shoving my phone in their faces (when they’re not hungry). They usually just give me steely looks!
Oh I know the steely looks of which you speak!
Mine must have been well fed for this shot!
Are you cats both Maine coons? The one on the left looks a lot like my male cat. Both are beautiful in either case.
One of the best photos ever taken of my cats was taken by the petsitter. Anytime I try to snap a photo of them, one runs away and the other, the Maine coon, walks right up to the lens. So kudos to you for this great capture. 🙂
Dropped by from SITS sharefest. 🙂
Thanks for dropping by Keisha – yes, my cats are both purebred Maine Coons!
Would love to see photos of yours – if you have some, please post them and leave a comment so I can visit! 🙂
I always do my own selfies, so no problems with that, but when Granny wants to make a picture of me, I turn my head away 😀 Great Selfies guys 🙂 Pawkisses for a great Monday 🙂 <3
Love seeing those big boys together! They are so handsome. Alice loves the kitchen table too, especially when we’re trying to eat or play games. 🙂
It’s really difficult for me to snap a pic of Alice and Arya lying together, as they rarely do. While they get along fine and often play, they do like their own personal space. In fact, Arya usually sleeps with me and Alice sleeps in the living room, or with the boys. I’m not giving up though!
Sorry I’m so late. I’m behind again!
