WOYWW 313: What’s On My Desk This Wednesday? My “Beautiful” Guest Design Team Card!
Happy June to you, dear friends! What’s new with you this week?
I’m excited to share that my Faith, Hope & Love was recently chosen as an April Spotlight Winner by the Design Team of Crafting By Designs. As a result, they’ve invited me to join them as a Guest Designer this month for their June Anything Goes Challenge!
I wanted to create something extra special for the occasion, so I dug through my collection of rubber stamps until I came across this lovely stamp set – Faceless Beauty – from one of my favorite Unity Stamp Company artistas, Angie Blom.
I stamped the image and the sentiment on Papertrey Cardstock and colored the image using a comination of Copic and ProMarkers, then searched for the prettiest ribbons, lace, papers and embellishments I could find to dress up my card! I distressed and layered the doilies and tags and carefully layered everything into place.
The rich turquoise creates a stunning backdrop for the layered elements of the card. The colors I chose for this card are all part of my favorite summer color palette.
Here’s a close-up of the “Faceless Beauty” so that you can see how the bling is woven into the waves of her hair!
