Conquer Your Pain In 9 Steps

Conquer Your Pain In 9 Steps by Carole Staveley – Book Review

If you are one of the 100 million Americans who suffer day in and day out from a chronic pain condition such as fibromyalgia, migraines or back pain, chances are good that you’ve done everything within your power to find a cure for your condition – but to no avail.

So – when you come across a book like Conquer Your Pain In 9 Steps – Building The Mindset And Team You Need To Suffer Less And Achieve More by Carole Staveley, you’re probably wondering whether hope, hype or heartbreak awaits you within its pages.

Well, if you’re looking for a book that can teach you to become your own Health Champion and effectively deal with the health challenges you will encounter throughout life, you’ll find plenty of hope and empowerment inside!

Conquer Your Pain In 9 Steps opens with Carole’s inspiring story of how – after 13 years of suffering from her chronic condition – she began to take charge of her health.

She breaks the process she followed into 9 steps:

  • Identify What’s Holding You Back
  • Establish Your WHY
  • Set Appropriate Goals
  • Establish And Use Your Social Support Network
  • Select And Challenge The Right Health Professionals
  • Budget For Your Healthcare
  • Fully Implement Healthy Solutions
  • Find Everyday Motivators To Keep You Going
  • Never, Ever Give Up!

As she shares each step, Carole provides lots of helpful information to coach you through the process.

What makes Carole’s story worth reading – and her process worth trying – is that after applying the process to her life, she was able to complete an IRONMAN triatholon!

Living with chronic pain is not for the weak of heart. Conquer Your Pain In 9 Steps is!

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

Mary, I also am dealing with some of these issues and I wish you all the best in your journey to overcome and in the giveaway!

Regardless, even if you are dealing with pain, I encourage you to NOT define yourself by what ails you.
I know that this can be challenging but remember: you are NOT your illness!

Even if you can no longer do some of the things that you once could due to current physical limitations –
You are developing new skills and new gifts that would not bloom under any other circumstances.
