Wordless Wednesday – Those Irresistible Eyes

Tsunami Irresitible Eyes

Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!

Those Irresistible Eyes

It happens more frequently than you think.

You have finally settled down to write. Your eyes are focused on the computer screen. Your phone is turned off so that no one can interrupt you. Your fingers are poised over the keyboard, ready to type out the words that are flowing through your mind, when suddenly you feel the brush of a cat against your leg – back and forth, back and forth …

And then, hear the thud of their favorite toy as they toss it with a flick of their head towards you, followed by a persistent meow…

Followed by the clincher – a glimpse at those irresistible eyes…

One glance from your favorite feline can melt your heart. One intense look can turn your good intentions to putty. A plea to play with a favorite toy can turn a ten minute break into an adventurous hour…

Happy hump day from Tsunami and those irresistible eyes!

    What a cutie!

  4. Your cats always seem so majestic!!!

  5. I have a blue point, Ian, and he loves to turn on the purr whenever you walk past him on the stairs… I even get a meow or two when he really wants affection. Kills productivity – fills heart = seems a fair trade. : ) Great photo – thanks for hosting as always!

  6. Beautiful cat and love the eyes!

  7. He is beautiful! Glenda has done similar things to me when I am sitting at my desk to write. I can relate!

Hi Ramona! We’re back from France and headed off on a family vacation! Thanks for your note. My post explains a bit of where I’ve been and what I have to do! 🙂

I think Liam’s eyes grab me the most with Lady’s purrs and rubs also making me smile. 🙂

    Have a great day!

    • Hi Mary,
So glad to see you’re back – even if just for a moment!
Glad you are having such a wonderful summer!

  12. Marie Moody says:

  13. Tsunami is a gorgeous kitty and he does have beautiful eyes! When I adopted my cat his blue eyes were the first thing that caught my attention. I simply couldn’t resist and had to bring him home with me 🙂

  14. Tsunami looks so sweet in that photo! I could see where it would be hard to resist some fun playtime!

Tried to link up for WW, but not sure if my link went through when the page re-loaded it says the link up was closed.

    • Hi Tracy,

If you were able to add your link you should be fine – the party is always set to be open through the following Wednesday (I test this out each week) – if you see it saying closed, you are probably looking at the party button links which are also set up in a linky! 🙂

      Have a great week!

  15. Kitties Blue says:

Fiona probably has the most pleading eyes and the most demanding meow to accompany it. The meow has come as the result of the mirtazapine she is taking for her CKD. None of the eight are as subtle as Tsunami. They just jump right into my lap and then start walking across the keyboard. If Tsunami looked at me with those eyes, I’d give him whatever he wanted!

  16. Shadow says:

A cats eyes can be dangerously irresistible. At least to the work load.

    Sarah and Shadow

  17. agreed! Cats eyes are irresistible!
Tsunami looks so sweet and innocent in this photo.
Sadly, my kitty Oliver developed an issue in one of his eyes and has had 2 surgeries. He’s healing now! (sequestrum–only cats get them)

  18. Robin says:

That is such an adorable look! Cats do have a way of making your heart melt with just a look in their eyes. My cats have figured out that they can get anything they want with that look!

  19. Who could resist those eyes! I mean Tsunami is beautiful and I would be surprised if you got any work done at all. purrs ERin

  20. speedyrabbit says:

    an enigmatic smile there,xx Speedy

  21. Tsunami is very irresisible in every way. Granny says she can’t deny anything to me either. I have kind of same irresistibility too 😀 Pawkisses for a not-so-hot Sunday 🙂 <3

  22. What a lovely photo. Mommy says Lexy’s eyes make her melt.

  23. They make the best distractions!

  24. Hello there Sunday Selfie folk, Tsunami IS a bit of a dish – right?

  1. […] Does this give you the nerve necessary to tackle your own project with your tired-looking baskets? Go ahead, give it a try! Pick your least favorite to start, and preferably a small basket, if you are nervous and just be careful not to overspray. Take a paint brush and dust off the baskets, doing your best to get the lint and dirt out of the corners, they are dirtier than you think! Then you can start spray painting. Just be sure to go back and forth lightly so it doesn’t run. Let it dry according to the paint can instructions, sometimes I could respray in an hour since I was doing it outside. Keep turning the basket and be sure not to let it stick to paper. Have fun with it and in no time you will have a room full of NEW baskets to enjoy for many more years to come.
