Those Irresistible Eyes
It happens more frequently than you think.
You have finally settled down to write. Your eyes are focused on the computer screen. Your phone is turned off so that no one can interrupt you. Your fingers are poised over the keyboard, ready to type out the words that are flowing through your mind, when suddenly you feel the brush of a cat against your leg – back and forth, back and forth …
And then, hear the thud of their favorite toy as they toss it with a flick of their head towards you, followed by a persistent meow…
Followed by the clincher – a glimpse at those irresistible eyes…
One glance from your favorite feline can melt your heart. One intense look can turn your good intentions to putty. A plea to play with a favorite toy can turn a ten minute break into an adventurous hour…

I have a blue point, Ian, and he loves to turn on the purr whenever you walk past him on the stairs… I even get a meow or two when he really wants affection. Kills productivity – fills heart = seems a fair trade. : ) Great photo – thanks for hosting as always!

Tsunami is a gorgeous kitty and he does have beautiful eyes! When I adopted my cat his blue eyes were the first thing that caught my attention. I simply couldn’t resist and had to bring him home with me 🙂

Fiona probably has the most pleading eyes and the most demanding meow to accompany it. The meow has come as the result of the mirtazapine she is taking for her CKD. None of the eight are as subtle as Tsunami. They just jump right into my lap and then start walking across the keyboard. If Tsunami looked at me with those eyes, I’d give him whatever he wanted!
A cats eyes can be dangerously irresistible. At least to the work load.

Sadly, my kitty Oliver developed an issue in one of his eyes and has had 2 surgeries. He’s healing now! (sequestrum–only cats get them)
That is such an adorable look! Cats do have a way of making your heart melt with just a look in their eyes. My cats have figured out that they can get anything they want with that look!
