66 Ways God Loves You by Jennifer Rothschild – Book Review
When you read the Bible, how do you approach your time in God’s Word? Do you come to the Bible to study its precepts – to learn doctrine and theology – to find out God’s will for your life?
Jennifer Rothschild says that God’s Word is many things – instructive, historical, poetic – but most importantly, it’s an incredible love letter that He has written to each of us. Her latest book, 66 Ways God Loves You shows us how to read the Bible from that perspective and helps us to experience God’s love for us in every book in the Bible!
This beautifully-designed, easy-to-read, devotionally-styled book is a godsend!
I fell in love with 66 Ways God Loves You from the moment I started reading the book, finding simple yet profound lessons on God’s love for us throughout its pages. In Jennifer’s chapter on Genesis, for example, she writes about creation. Did you realize that God spoke everything into creation except for man, whom He lovingly formed with His own hands? God was intimately involved in our creation process. His fingerprints are upon us. His breath of life is in us. We are that precious to Him. God loves us that much!
66 Ways God Loves You is a gem of a book. It’s a wonderful book to start or end your day with, and the perfect gift to share with a friend!
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
