Pray A To Z: A Practical Guide To Pray For Your Community
Are you interested in impacting the people that God has placed in your life, whether they be in your personal circle of family and friends or in the greater community at large, through the powerful process of prayer?
Have you discovered that the more you pray, the more sensitive you become to the needs of those around you – the more that the people around you sense that they can approach you with their needs – and the more important it is for you to have a way of organizing the requests you receive so that you can honor their needs in prayer?
That’s why I was so thrilled to come across Pray A To Z: A Practical Guide To Pray For Your Community by Amelia Rhodes!
Pray A To Z isn’t a how-to-pray more or better book on prayer. Instead, it’s an ingenious guide to topically organizing prayer requests into alphabetical categories so that you can pray in a systematic and focused way!
Each letter of the alphabet has 5 topics in this book – for instance, A has a page dedicated to Adoption, Abuse, Alcoholism, Abundance and the Almighty. Each topic opens with a Scripture – ideas for prayer based on the topic – and a sample prayer. The topics provided are relevant and contain great ideas on how to pray about many important topics, but also serve as a guide for helping you create a customized prayer binder filled with the specific topics that make the most sense for your community’s needs.
Pray A To Z is an easy-to-use and highly practical book that aspiring prayer warriors will find particularly useful. I highly recommend this book, especially for those who want to pray more but have had difficulty finding their rhythm in the past.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
