Every Fall, I begin my search for the perfect Bible that will help me draw closer to God in the New Year. With so many wonderful options to choose from, and so many favorites already sitting on my nightstand, desk and bookshelves, the process is usually quite daunting.

This year, however, from the moment that I first laid eyes on the CSB (in)courage Devotional Bible, I knew that this was the one! This beautiful Bible is specifically designed to invite each woman to find her place within the greatest story ever told – God’s story of redemption – and to record her journey along the way!

There are so many things that I like about this Bible, beginning with the fact that you have four stunning covers to choose from! Each cover option is lovely so pick as your heart leads. I like this Bible so much that I decided I am going to give away my lovely, sturdy sage green fabric edition as a gift, and I picked up the speaks-to-my-heart Blue Leather Touch edition for personal use!

What makes the CSB (in)courage Devotional Bible so special? Here are some of the features that I love!

• There are 10 distinct thematic Reading Plans.
• The 66 Book Introductions connect each book of the Bible to the whole biblical narrative.

My favorite feature is the 11 lines of journaling space that run across the entire width of each page – encouraging you to interact and engage with the Lord, record your prayers and insights, personalize your Bible, and document your spiritual journey each and every step of the way!

I tend to spend a lot of time studying God’s Word, so it’s always a joy to just spend quiet devotional time with Him. I’m finding that the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) translation is a great translation to use for devotional reading because it is both highly readable and highly reliable – meaning it stays as literal as possible to the Bible’s original meaning without sacrificing clarity. This makes it easier for us to both engage with Scripture’s life-transforming message and to share it with others!

The Bible is a life-changing book that brings God’s message of hope and salvation to our world and as such, it’s the perfect gift to share with others.
