New Every Morning – A Unique Daily Devotional
As we edge towards the beginning of the New Year, are you thinking about what devotional you’d like to use on your spiritual journey?
If so, New Every Morning: 365 Days Of Worship offers a unique devotional experience!
In New Every Morning: 365 Days Of Worship, editor Dr. Phil Barfoot has compiled the writing of 118 premiere worship pastors, ministers of music, and Christian university professors across America!
The Bible teaches us that God’s mercies are new every morning in Lamentations 3:22-23. This undated book of daily devotionals is designed to help individuals like us, as well as choirs, worship teams and small groups experience this first-hand.
As you read each worship-based devotional, you’ll find a passage of Scripture to meditate upon, questions to help you apply Biblical principles to your life, and a prayer to lead you into worship.
What I like most about New Every Morning is the opportunity to read and reflect on the writings of so many contemporary spiritual leaders reflecting on so many different aspects of worship. For instance, worship pastor John Stegerten encourages us to look past our momentary circumstances, focus on Christ, and reflect Him in our lives in his devotional, A Life That Points To God.
What I didn’t like about this book was the paper quality (particularly for a book designed for daily use) and the small print. While there is plenty of room in the book to make personal notes, the paper does not make it inviting to do so.
For this reason alone, I would hesitate to give this as a gift, but I do recommend this for personal use.
I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

This sounds like it would be good for every day, though it would be good if they had an option for larger print or one conducive to writing in your thoughts. Thanks for sharing this review. I’m your neighbor at the #LMMLinkup!
