Bibles And Breakfast: 31 Mornings With Jesus by Asheritah Ciuciu – Book Review

Are you the kind of gal who believes that breakfast is the most important meal of the day (even if you’re so rushed most mornings, you rarely enjoy it)?

Do you strive to start your day with God but find it challenging to incorporate a consistent devotional routine into your life?

Do you believe that “man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” and want to live and model this biblical principle for yourself and your family?

If so, then Asheritah Ciuciu’s new book, Bible And Breakfast: 31 Mornings With Jesus (Feeding Our Bodies And Soul Together) was written for you!

Recipes 1

Bible And Breakfast is a full-color, beautifully photographed cookbook, devotional and Bible study, combined in one book! I know that may sound like a strange combination, but actually, it works!

As a breakfast cookbook, Bible And Breakfast has 31 delicious mouth-watering recipes that will leave you wondering which recipe to make first! As an egg lover, Make-Ahead Breakfast Burritos, Powerful Prayer Quiche Lorraine and Mason Jar Omelettes all rank high on my list, but my healthier side is also intrigued by Asheritah’s Rainbow Fruit Salad, BLT Breakfast Salad and Good Morning Smoothie!

Recipes 2

Of course, what excites me about this book are the 31 devotionals that accompany each day’s recipes! What I appreciate most about these devotionals and studies is how flexible they are – clearly, they were written with busy women in mind!

For busy mornings when we are in a rush, we can read our “Snack On The Go” devotional and reflect on its message throughout the day. For peaceful mornings when we have more time on our hands, we can “Feast At The Table” with a full-fledge study where we can spend in-depth time reading multiple Bible passages and responding to the journaling prompts right in the book!

Hearts Not Checklists

If you’re interested in sharing breakfast and these Bible studies with your friends, the author has even provided for that! Simply visit Asheritah’s website and sign up for a wealth of resources including a Book Sampler, leader’s guide, reading plan and more!

Developing healthy habits requires discipline, but books like Bible And Breakfast make the process fun!

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.
