A Cross To Kill and Cross Shadow – Book Review & Giveaway

Cross Kill - Cross Shadow

If you enjoy immersing yourself in a good Christian thriller and suspense series as much as I do, then schedule some time on your reading calendar to delve into A Cross To Kill and Cross Shadow by Andrew Huff. These are the first two books in the exciting Shepherd Suspense Novel series (the third book, Right Cross, will release in 2021) and they are too engaging to miss!

A Cross To Kill – Review

A Cross To Kill

The adventure begins in A Cross To Kill, where we are introduced to John Cross – a peaceful pastor who is passionate about serving his small town and helping them to follow God. Who would ever imagine that a man like John led such a checkered path?

But the truth is, once upon a time, before John served God, he served his country as an assassin for the CIA. When a terrorist walks into his church, intent for revenge, it’s clear that keeping his past life a secret is no longer an option. How does John honors his commitments to God, his congregation, his country and a tenacious journalist named Christine Lewis, who will stop at nothing to uncover the identity of the mysterious man who rescues her from a seemingly no-way-out hostage situation?

The story that unfolds in A Cross To Kill is a page-turner that paves the way for Book Two in the series, Cross Shadow!

Cross Shadow – Review

Cross Shadow

Fans of John Cross and Christine Lewis will be excited to learn that their adventures continue in Cross Shadow, although the strains of a long-distance relationship and competing job interests has left them somewhat on shaky ground:

All journalist Christine Lewis wants is the truth.
All Pastor John Cross wants is to avoid it.

But as in all good relationships, Christine and John are there for one another when it counts. That time arrives when Christine’s brother is arrested for murder in Texas. The two of them team up to investigate the charges, but what they discover runs far deeper and places them in far more danger than they ever could have imagined.

In these first two books, Andrew Huff has proven himself to be a masterful storyteller with the power to thrill, chill and delight.

Cross Shadow ends with Chapter One of Book Three in the Series, Right Cross. Be sure to pick up these books now so that you can be among the first to read the new arrival in 2021!

I rate these books 5 out of 5 stars.
