Wow… how many of you can you believe that it’s not only time for another week of WOYWW, but that it’s also time to ring in the month of May! Before you know it, Week 156 of WOYWW will be here… the week that many of us will be exchanging ATCs with one another! To help set the mood and build anticipation, I thought it would be fun to share a few ATCs I’ve made in the past as well as a few tips for those of you who are new to this art form!
ATCs are 2.5” x 3.5” cards that are designed to be traded among artists. You can create them out of just about anything – paper – cardboard – acrylic – fabric – wood – and draw, paint, color, stamp, and embellish them to your heart’s content! The creators sign, date, and number the cards (if part of a series) and trade them with other artists or use them as calling cards. Because of their size, they are perfect for trying new techniques – for using scraps – and for incorporating both recycled and one-of-a-kind materials! They are tons of fun to make. If you’ve never tried it, give it a whirl – you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to create miniature pieces of art!
Now, before you go, please:
- Stop by Inspire Me Monday to see which WOYWWer is featured!
- Visit Wordless Wednesday to see what My Sweet Legend is up to!
- Make A Wish at Friendship Friday!
Have a fabulous week and a fabulous What’s On Your Workspace Wednesday!
thanks for the inspiration as I have never made an ATC and am very on the fence about it I am not one that ventures out of my comfort zone often. Happy Woyww! #8

I’m still debating with myself…maybe I’ll try one and see if I’m happy enough to think of sending one….
Thanks for the great explanation of ATCs. I’ve seen them around for ages, but having so many other things to do, haven’t jumped on that particular bandwagon. Maybe I will now, just this once…
Happy Woyww,

Thanks so much for sharing your ATCs! Mine is done, except I keep thinking it needs something else. Maybe I should just leave it along. Afraid if I trying adding I will mess it up! Well I will think on it some more. #139
I love ATCs and have lots of them from swaps over the years. You have a grand collection – thanks for sharing – Hazel, WOYWW #10 x
I love your ATCs and your different samples so everyone can see different styles and get different ideas. Really when you think about it, the only thing that matters in ATCs is the size–2.5 inches by 3.5 inches. Whatever else you do on it is all up to you!!!!! I once stamped small black sunglasses on a white ATC and said it was a hip polar bear in a blizzard. 🙂 Maybe I’ll try for a little more detail for WOYWW.
I love your ATCs. Especially the “believe” and “timeless” ones. What great fun!! 🙂

Thanks for sharing! I’ve been baffled with what ATC’s really are so this has really been informative! Great ATCs btw =)
