Welcome To Wordless Wednesday at Create With Joy!
For the past few weeks,
Things have gotten a little personal.
You’ve learned that I have Insomnia.
You’ve discovered the reason for my Night Terror.
This week, I’d like to lighten things up a bit!
Do you have one member in your family that
Nothing seems to faze?
Someone who can sleep through
Anything and everything?
Meet our sleeping beauty!
Legend is not one to miss a wink,
Even if it means leaving his cozy bed
And finding new quarters!
He’ll sleep in a box.
He’ll sleep like a fox!
He’ll sleep on the rug.
Just give him a hug!
Which brings to mind the timeless lyrics of
John Lennon and Paul McCartney:
Golden slumbers,
Fill your eyes
Smiles await you when you rise
Sleep pretty darling
Do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby
Thank you for joining us for
Wordless Wednesday at Create With Joy.
May you be inspired by this week’s photographs!

Love those critters!
Haha! I thought you said he would sleep ON a fox, and I was like “I really don’t think he would”. 😉

Hope – had that been what I said, you would have had me! 🙂
I’m one of the lucky ones. As soon as my head hits the pillow, I’m out like a light. I do wake up a couple of times during the night, but it doesn’t take long for me to fall right back to sleep. Of course it may be because I get up at 3 am with my husband, and we don’t go to bed until sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 pm.
A good night’s sleep is definitely a blessing Kay! Enjoy it!
Sleepy kitties are so adorable. Linking up for some WW fun!
Always a pleasure to see you Cathy!
“Legend” is an awesome pet name! Love it.
Thanks Kristen – he lives up to it too!
Aw, I love how kitties can find a comfortable place to sleep anywhere!
We have eight cats, so the faze factor varies signficantly from cat to cat!!
Well I’m the one who can sleep through anything, but I’m not as good looking as your cat. 😉
Thanks once again for being a tremendous hostess.
Thanks Wayne!
He looks very comfortable! Thanks for hosting! =)
Have a great day Trisha!
My cats, too, will sleep in, on, around, near, under, on top of or next to anything … but, they don’t deep sleep. They would be up in an instant at the slightest sound that isn’t filed in their little brains as normal or safe. I am much like them. I often think women are like that because of their mothering instincts. And then there are fathers who could sleep through a tornado without moving if wife(mother) didn’t shake them out of it. Sleep is an interesting topic … have you ever used Melatonin? Great stuff 🙂

I totally agree with your comment about mothering instincts Andrea.
I hear and notice and respond to their every whimper and chirp and cry (which is why they KNOW they have me wrapped around their little kitty paws) while their dad just goes about his business!
No, I’ve never used a sleeping aid – my doctor has encouraged it but I’ve been resistant to the idea!
Thank you for hosting sweetie, I am always happy to join in and hop around xo
Sun puddles are the bestest!

Happy Wednesday!
I think the Winter months make our pets nap in more cuter poses than the rest of the year! I’ve gotten some adorable ones of Moon and Copper!…:)JP
Such a relaxed kitty. 🙂 Here’s my contribution.

Great share – have a fab week!
Back again for the second time this week! I love visiting you and look forward to connecting with you again soon, hopefully on Friday. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help with your bloggy parties ;o) I’ll keep promoting in the Ruby community, on the FB and Google+ pages, and on my personal blog at mamas*little*treasures. Talk to you later, Nina
Thanks Nina – have a great day!
Benjamin is like that. Anywhere he is makes a perfect place to plop down for a nap.
First time linking up, found you via Kristy at Shona Sky… thanks for hosting!

Welcome Jennifer – so glad you found us! 🙂
sweet sleepy kitty.
Awww, what a sweet kitty! He looks so peaceful…
Oh snuggly kitteh, you look so peaceful. 🙂
Well, it took me a while, but I finally linked up! We’ve had a couple of sickies here over the weekend, so it threw everything off for a couple of days. Getting back to abby-normal now, though. :O)
Glad everything is better now LuAnn!
Adorable! He looks just like our cat, Angus!
Happy Wednesday y’all (even though it’s Friday!!!)! Everyone have a weekend filled with blessings and joy!
He sounds like my Alice! She LOVES to sleep and nothing wakes her. 🙂 John and Paul were incredible lyricists, weren’t they?
I enjoyed chatting with you on the read-a-thon chat the other night. I hope you will be able to join me for my next read-a-thon!
I enjoyed chatting with you too, Michelle, and I have marked the dates and signed up on your site, so I look forward to getting the notifications and joining you in the upcoming seasonal challenges!
