Unstuffed by Ruth Soukup
If you are a clutterbug, I’d like to share a book that can help you to transform your life!
Unstuffed – Decluttering Your Home, Mind And Soul by New York Times Bestselling Author Ruth Soukup is not just another how-to book that makes you feel guilty for having a messy home.
Unstuffed is a book that helps you get to the root of the issue and transform the way you view the stuff that you let enter your homes, your minds, and your souls to begin with, so that you’re motivated to eliminate the things that no longer serve you as you create a vision for the way you’d like your home and your life to function!
Ruth writes:
In one way or another, I think that we are all drowning. We are all drowning in a sea of unrelenting clutter – this stuff – that threatens to wash us away unless we somehow learn to swim… We have to choose our stuff well or it may just bury us alive.
In Unstuffed, Ruth uses her personal story as the backdrop to show how God can clean up even the biggest of messes – and provides us with the tips and information we need to clean up our own messes.
She’s even created a 10-Day Challenge to help you jump-start the process!
If you are a clutterbug – or know someone who is – then I highly recommend Unstuffed to you!
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I tend to hang onto stuff that we have replaced but still has some useful life left in it. I try to find places to get rid of everything but I think I could do better with the help of this book. Thanks.

I was so interested to read this post and learn more about Unstuffed. Am ordering it from Amazon asap! Was also very interested to learn about Ruth’s website. I”m pretty good at being organised but I do have a tendency to accumulate stuff – so I’m sure I will enjoy the book. Thank you for sharing this post with us at the Hearth and Soul Hop.
Looks like a book I need!
Ironically, the areas I need to unstuff most are my book shelves, stacks, totes, and boxes! I could start a small library!
I would love to win this! I have boy #3 on the way so my entire house feels cluttered. I know a lot of it starts with the clutter in my soul.
It looks like an interesting book. I plan to look at the preview when I’ve got a bit more time.

Right now it is books. I have so many, but I love books so much. I am need help in other areas to especially fitting a lot of stuff in a house with few storage closets.
As a mom with three small children I think I most need help “unstuffing” their games, toys, and things. I am pretty organized but feel like we probably don’t get all that we have.
I am in the process of decluttering our house and, as a family, we do our best to be mindful of the schedule and avoid constant business. We will have to be more intentional about that as our kids get older!
I keep the littlest trinkets. To me they are gold (ticket stubs, receipts, kids schoolwork) My oldest just graduated, and now its time to clear it all out.
