Life Creative: Inspiration For Today’s Renaissance Mom – Book Review

If you are a creative woman who feels that the call to motherhood has been a call for you to put aside the creative yearnings you feel in your heart – at least for this season in your life – I have some wonderful news for you.

In Life Creative: Inspiration For Today’s Renaissance Mom by Wendy Speak and Kelli Stuart, the authors share that creativity is a part of God’s intrinsic design for you and your life and that in every season and circumstance of your life, it’s desirable for you to share your God-given creative gifts – even if the expression of them varies at different points in your life!

As the authors note:

A mother’s natural bent toward creativity doesn’t just wither and die with the birth of a child. This core component remains part of her intricate design.

This wonderfully inspiring book shows us how we can honor God by using our creative gifts for His glory in a number of venues including our homes, our churches, the Internet, and the marketplace and explores how we are God’s workmanship – his masterpiece – his poema.

This book is essential reading for creative moms and women everywhere who are ready to take part in the modern-day Renaissance of creativity.

I rate this book series 5 out of 5 stars.
