One Part Plant by Jessica Murnane – Book Review
What ingredients go into your ideal cookbook? For me, the perfect cookbook is bursting with irresistible, full-page photos of healthy recipes that I simply can’t wait to try: clean, wholesome recipes that are easy to make, easy to digest, and made with real food!
Wellness advocate and podcaster Jessica Murnane must have heard my wish, for her new book One Part Plant: A Simple Guide To Eating Real, One Meal At A Time is filled with delicious recipes that I can’t wait to try and share with my health-conscious friends!
Her book, eating plan and recipes are designed to help you eat at just one plant-based meal each day to improve your health (although, once you see the incredible array of recipes Jessica has provided, you’ll be tempted to make changes you never thought were possible!)
Jessica didn’t always have the healthiest of eating habits. In One Part Plant, she shares that before she was diagnosed with endometriosis – a chronic, painful condition that left her desperate for health – her diet consisted of three major food groups: Sour Patch Kids, Diet Coke, and whatever Lean Cuisine had the most cheese!
But her condition forced her to radically overhaul her diet and – when she discovered she could heal her body through food – she set out to share the things that she learned in her book!
One Part Plant will certainly interest women with endometriosis, readers with chronic health issues and inflammation, vegetarians and vegans – but truly, anyone who is interested in clean eating and healthy, whole food will appreciate this cookbook!
Spicy Broccoli Rice, Daniel Holzman’s Chopped Vegetable Salad, and Chocolate Chunk Cookies (gluten-free, of course!) are just a few of the tantalizing dishes and treats that await you in this inspiring guide to eating and feeling your best.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I’ve been talking a lot about eating cleaner and not doing anything about it … maybe this book is the push I need to get started!
Thanks for being a part of the tour.
That’s my recipe for the perfect cookbook as well! I’ll have to get a copy of this book myself. 🙂
