Come And Eat: A Celebration Of Love And Grace Around The Everyday Table
Do you long to make a spiritual difference in the lives of those around you – to bring hope, healing, and the love of Jesus to those you meet? In Come And Eat: A Celebration Of Love And Grace Around The Everyday Table, author Bri McKoy shares how something as simple as extending an invitation to share a meal can make a huge difference in a person’s life!
In a world where we may be technologically connected but lack personal, authentic, and meaningful relationships in our daily lives, the act of inviting others to sit down and share a meal with us takes on a whole new meaning. Our tables become places of physical, emotional and spiritual sustenance – places to fulfill the deep thirst and hunger within us that we may not even know exists – places to take off our masks and get to truly know one another.
In Come And Eat, Bri shares her vision for the table and gives those of us who have a heart for hospitality the tools we need to bring our tables to life. Her book is filled with helpful tips that include how to invite others to our table – how to host communion at our table – even questions to discuss around our table. She also includes wonderful recipes, resources, and shopping lists to help us begin a 21-day adventure at our tables!
Infused among the helpful and practical tips are personal anecdotes as well as biblical stories of how Jesus impacted others through frequently issued invitations to others to come and dine with him.
Come And Eat is an inspirational book that anyone who wants to impact the world through the gift of hospitality should read!
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

This book sounds awesome girl. Best book review I have read in a while actually. I really enjoyed this and will be on the look out for this!
I enjoy your reviews but this one is going to prompt me to buy!
Every Sunday night, our family gets together for dinner. We’ve had some sad changes in our family the past couple of years, making more room at the table. I’ve been considering inviting someone from our church, that we don’t know well, to join us each Sunday. This would allow us to get to know people we otherwise wouldn’t know well and also to extend the hospitality of the table. Perhaps Bri’s book is the push I’ve been needing!
Thanks for introducing us!

This sounds like my kind of book! I’ve always been told I have the gift of hospitality but sometimes I need some inspiration and encouragement to use it! Thank you so much for sharing, and for being a part of Hearth and Soul.

I have been amazed since being back in the US at how positively people respond to being invited over to our house – like it’s never happened to them before! Thank you for sharing this at Booknificent Thursday on Mommynificent.com! I appreciate it!
